As we remember the brave men and women who fought for our freedoms, let’s not forget the dogs and other animals who courageously helped in wartime – relaying messages between soldiers in the trenches, and searching for mines and trip-wires – and those still playing a vital role in defence of the UK.
A special service of remembrance for all the animals who died and & those serving our country will be held at the Animals in War Memorial on Park Lane, London on Sun at 3pm.
