‘Finn’s Law’ * comes into force today. Now it’s officially an offence to abuse or unnecessarily harm service animals in England and Wales.
Finn’s Law is named after a brave German Shepherd who was brutally stabbed while protecting his police handler from a knife attack 3 years’ ago. Happily, Finn survived and went on to appear on Britain’s Got Talent, no less. He’s now putting his feet up, and enjoying a peaceful retirement.
